Although every artist wants their work and effort to be seen and appreciated, we are not primarily a commercial gallery. Sale of art is not our goal. We are more concerned with the process of making it.

But sometimes folks ask how they can purchase some of the art they find featured on our web pages. The best way is to contact the artist directly, either at the gallery or through their email hot link. They'll be glad to discuss their work with you and make arrangements for a direct sale. The Green Door Studio takes no commission on any work sold directly by the artist.

In this day and age how do you keep making art in a world that doesn't care about your art, or anybody else's? You rely on encouraging words from those who have seen your work, from those who have shown an interest in what you have to say ... and an occasional sale to keep you in artist's supplies. A little support goes a long way.
