About tools to break the pattern: The book is rendered from rag handmade paper, polymer plates and Bodoni type. The book was printed and bound in an edition of 33 during February 2006 at the Center For Book and Paper Arts in Chicago, IL.
The book is the result of a collaboration between Vermont Poet Ken Lawless and myself. He
wrote the prose titled ‘Weaving Peace’ and as a response, I combined his
text with a printed collage and bound it.
Using the icons and prose the book expresses the need to change the patterns of war to patterns of peace.
