About the People's Portraits of Bush:

The book is made from handmade rag paper, polymer plates, letterpress, laser printing and is a hard cover supportive binding that has an extensive use of the gate fold.

The piece is titled The People's Portraits of Bush. It is a result of a series of street performances, where I erected a portable paper vat on the sidewalk, inviting pedestrians to make pulp painted portraits of President George Bush. Participants expressed the level of approval with the President by painting with star, happy and sad Jesus stencils. The performances yielded a hundred and fifty portraits, statistical data, a DVD documentary that I have transformed into this artist book in an edition of 50.
