Sailboat Chandlery

These photographs were taken in the harbor at Rockport, Maine. They feature a study of early-morning natural light highlighting the rigging and chandlery of small boats, captured by a wide open lens. The depth of field is shallow, the focus selective. If you take a breath you can smell the salty coolness of the before-breakfast air, that hour before the harbor comes to life.
